both remote and onsite vendor support of technical issues; Liaison to COTS vendor
for support of non-technical issues (e.g., licensing); Support both desk and
lab-based COTS product integration with tactical subsystems; Delivery of technical
presentations to tactical subsystems and management (as needed; Collect/Analyze
Technical Performance Metrics (TPMs); Evaluate product upgrades/alternatives;
Participation in DDS-related conferences, working groups, and forums. Additional
Required Skills: Thorough understanding of the TCP/IP model; Fluency in C++
and Java (test driver development) and Unix/Linux; familiarity with publish/subscribe
middleware, familiarity with Data Distribution Service (DDS) Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Operating System theory Skills/Experience: TRAINING REQUIRED: 1. Type of Degree: BS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent. 2. Other training: Masters degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent is desirable. BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE:At least six years of experience is desirable.
